About the Jason Young Memorial Golf Classic:
Thirteen
years ago, the friends and family of Jason A. Young (1969 - 1994) held
their first annual memorial golf tournament at Candia Woods Golf Links.
Proceeds from the event were used to establish the Jason A. Young
Memorial Scholarship Fund to be awarded to a graduating senior from
Portsmouth High School who participated in athletics.
Since the beginning, many students have been presented this scholarship
award. Over a decade later, the golf tournament continues to be a
successful fundraising event and named SeaCare Health Services ® as their
tournament sponsor and co-recipient in 2005.

Join Team SeaCare on Sunday, September 7, 2008 for the Three Notch Century challenge, presented by Northeast Passage.
About the Ride: Participants will complete the 100-mile ride in one day (as an individual or relay team) and conquer the notches, including Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch and the Kancamagus Highway.
Registration Fee: There is a $100.00 registration fee (or participants may fundraise the registration fee). The fee will go directly to Northeast Passage who will be providing the infrastructure and logistics for the event including: aid stations, t-shirt and post event meal.
On-line Registration and Fundraising: Team SeaCare participants can register for this event and set up a personal fundraising page through firstgiving.com/SeaCare. Any money raised (above the $100.00 registration fee) will be donated to SeaCare. There is no fundraising minimum in order to ride, but we would suggest setting a fundraising goal of $500 - $1,000 on your firstgiving.com web page.
