Medical Access Program Eligibility

We serve adults living in twenty-one towns in coastal New Hampshire with incomes below 185% of poverty. For the most part, those served are "the working poor" who are not offered insurance through their employers.

SeaCare participants do not have private medical or dental insurance and are not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare, and have incomes that are at 185% of Federal Poverty Guidelines or below. Currently 185% of poverty represents $18,889/year for a household of one and $25,327/year for a household of two.
